BREVARD ACHIEVEMENT CENTER AND PROMISE, INC. ENTER INTO PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT TO BENEFIT PROMISE SPECIAL NEEDS COMMUNITY
BREVARD COUNTY – Promise Inc. (Promise) is pleased to announce a partnership with Brevard Achievement Center (BAC) for BAC to provide comprehensive employment support services for Promise residents.
In addition to providing affordable housing, life skills classes and a plethora of activities for its 125 residents with special needs, one of the core values of Promise, a nonprofit organization based in West Melbourne, Florida, has always been to assist Promise residents with employment.
This new partnership will provide Promise residents with the comprehensive level of employment support that BAC is able to provide its participants. BAC’s mission to provide persons with disabilities innovative services and opportunities to achieve personal success complements the mission of Promise.
“BAC has a core competency and decades-long history of providing employment support for the special needs community in Brevard County,” said Jeff Kiel, Promise President/CEO. “Having the opportunity to offer these services to our Promise residents will strengthen Promise’s commitment to providing employment opportunities to all who are interested in acquiring and improving job skills while pursuing meaningful employment.”
The BAC team welcomes the Promise partnership as an opportunity to further expand options and employment choices to adults with disabilities in a shared mission space. “We are excited to bring our specific experience and focus on employment supports to the Promise residents who have determined that working is one of their personal goals,” said Amar Patel, BAC President & CEO. “Our team feels we can complement the services Promise offers by bringing additional resources to the table that will assist people in more successful, long-term employment outcomes.”
